One of the most difficult things that I have done to date is undertake college and real estate

simultaneously while in an extremely unpredictable economy. I remember being on the edge of my seat wondering what was going to happen with everything being totally shut down during the pandemic.

Thankfully everything panned out and launched the housing market into a historical frenzy of buying and selling with the lowest cost to borrow in history.

At this point in time, I was making the transit from New Braunfels to Austin for an entire year to get my college career started at Austin Community College. If I correctly recall the average time to be leaving the house was roughly around 5:30 in hopes that I could surpass the dreaded south Austin traffic that can quickly EAT up an hour and some change of the day.

I had to do this so I could use those precious hours in the early morning to lay my groundwork in the real estate market; whether it was looking up houses to show to my clients or setting up the logistics behind my next open house.

I would like to add how much I really enjoyed the environment and atmosphere at ACC because it really made me feel like my next steps in life were truly important regardless of its rank and status. I had kind of wished that I had lived in ATX at the time. Having the opportunity to study there had shown that there were so many cool things to do in the off time from paddle boarding the river or hanging out in Zilker Park.

Looking back on everything has made me realize that holding a lot of responsibilities at one time can seem very stressful at first, but as you become accustomed to it over a long span of time it begins to create a compounding effect of constantly challenging yourself to do more. You end up achieving goals that seemed almost impossible from the outside looking in.
